Denver Metro Area:

Prince Cedza Dlamini, the grandson of South Africa’s former president Nelson Mandela, presented “Ubuntu: Interconnectedness and Conflict Resolution”, October 18 from 1:00 – 2:30 PM at the Tivoli Student Union.  Ubuntu is a value system based on compassion, respect, integrity, and tolerance of others.

“You Never Listen to Me!!!”: Strategies for Healthy Problem-solving in Relationships.

A Community Reception for Alternative Dispute Resolution Practitioners and other community members was hosted by the Colorado Council of Mediators and Mediator Organizations in the Tivoli Center.

In observance of Conflict Resolution Day, a radio program about processing conflicts was aired on KGNU — 88.5 FM and 1390 AM — on October 15.
