Grounded in nonviolence as exemplified by Martin Luther King and Gandhi, Compassionate Communication helps transform patterns of communication that lead to conflict or disconnection from ourselves and others. It offers practical skills for building connection and respectful dialog.
When we connect deeply with the ones we care about, life is rich and meaningful. This five-week course covers the fundamentals of Compassionate Communication as expressed in Marshal Rosenberg’s bestselling book, Nonviolent Communication, A Language of Life. In the course, you will learn how to build empathetic relationships, become aware of the needs that drive your actions and motivate others, develop communication skills, and build a foundation for more satisfying relationships and effective conflict resolution by hearing the beautiful needs masked by someone’s hostile or tragic expression.
